The Spring Lake Singletrack Classic is the first ever race presented by the Macomb Mountain Bike Club. Registration is $25 ($5 discount for club members). Kids race FREE! Registration ends 30 minutes before each race. All proceeds help build and maintain our amazing mountain bike trails. Watch the Facebook page or inquire at The Bike Shop for more information.

Regular Group Rides

Macomb has some very enthusiastic cyclists who enjoy getting together to ride. Here are some of our favorite regulary scheduled rides:

Critical Mass

When: The last friday of every month, 5:30 p.m.
Where: Meet at the fountain in Chandler Park
Who: Everyone!
Difficulty: Very easy (short ride around town, slow 7 MPH pace)

Critical mass is a big group ride attended by riders of all ages and abilites, with many bicycle types. The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes on Macomb city streets. The goal of critical mass is to have fun while promoting safe cycling in Macomb.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Ride - Liesure Pace

When: Saturdays, 7:45 a.m.
Where: Meet at the west parking lot of Macomb High School
Difficulty: Moderately Easy (slow pace, a few hills)

The Liesure Pace Breakfast Ride heads out every saturday morning for breakfast. The ride maintains an easy 10-12 MPH pace and usually meets up with the fast pace breakfast ride. Breakfast rides usually ride to Industry unless a strong wind encourages a different destination. Be sure to bring money for breakfast!

Saturday Morning Breakfast Ride - Fast Pace

When: Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.
Where: Meet in the parking lot on the west side of K-Mart
Difficulty: Medium (faster pace, a few hills)

The Saturday Breakfast Ride heads out every saturday morning for breakfast. The ride maintains an "enthusiastic" pace and usually meets up with the liesure pace breakfast ride. Breakfast rides usually ride to Industry unless a strong wind encourages a different destination. Be sure to bring money for breakfast!
