Annual Bicycle Rodeo
Each May, during National Bicycle Month, the Western Illinois University Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 169 holds a Bicycle Rodeo.
The activity, open to children ages 5 to 14, is usually held at the McDonough County Courthouse Square in downtown Macomb.
Events include:
- Bicycle inspection
- Bicycle registration
- Safety courses
- Obstacle course
- Fingerprinting/Photo IDs
Door prizes, including helmets and new bicycles, are awarded.
The 2009 Bicycle Rodeo was held on Sunday, May 17th.
